Saturday 11 June 2022. Steve ASBO Burns Commemoration

GHA RFC held an event at Braidholm to remember the One and Only Steve Burns, who died suddenly. A player in The GHA RFC Gazelles veterans team, and a coach at Cartha RFC Ladies, Garioch RFC Ladies and Lincoln RFC Ladies. It was a pleasure to welcome members of Steve's family and friends and members of of the rugby clubs mmentioned to Braidholm. We had games of mixed touch rugby, a raffle organised by Steve's family, which raised over £400 pounds for The Chest , Heart and Stroke Charity, food, drink, barbeque, songs and a celebration of Steve's life, rugby and the fellowship enjoyed in rugby circles.
